What’s up, Halo fans? I hope you’re all doing great! I wanted to share some exciting news and insights that have been buzzing around lately. While there’s no definitive choice just yet for the new position, I thought you all might appreciate knowing who is currently in the running. The top two candidates that are being discussed are none other than the former Angel and recently retired David Fletcher, and the highly regarded former Mets hitting coach Eric Chavez. Chavez has done an impressive job with the Mets, helping their hitters perform well over the past couple of seasons, especially after his time spent in the Angels front office. I can definitely see the potential for him to make a significant impact. On the flip side, Fletcher is a name that sparks some interesting thoughts. While I can envision him stepping into an assistant hitting coach role, it’s important to note that he just recently hung up his cleats and has no prior coaching experience. Plus, he’s actually younger than a few of the veterans on the current roster. So, that’s the scoop I have for you at this moment, and I promise to keep everyone updated as things unfold. Until next time, let’s keep cheering for our team. Go Halos!
